Who can participate in this conference?
The conference is open for the public and free of charge. We welcome students, researchers and higher education representatives; school administrators and teachers; policy makers; practitioners and other stakeholders with interest in the conference themes and goals.

What is the conference fee?
The conference is free of charge, but please notice that there is a no-show fee of 30 USD. For more information, look here.

Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, online registration is required for all participants. You can register here.

Where will the conference take place?
At the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Arusha, Tanzania. The institute is situated 16 km East of Arusha. Participants will be able to sign up for a shuttle bus for travel between Arusha and the venue.

Will you announce any conference grants?
Unfortunately we can’t provide any economic support. We sincerely hope that participants from many countries still will be able to take part.

I need an official invitation letter, who should I contact?

Is it easy to travel to Arusha?
Yes, Arusha is served by two airports, Kilimanjaro International Airport for international flights, and Arusha Airport for domestic flights only. For more travel information look here.

Can you help me with travel and hotel bookings?
Participants themselves arrange their own travel and accommodation. We have, however, made attractive arrangements with three different hotels in Arusha. For more information, please check the Travel Information page.

Do I need to apply for a visa?
Yes, any foreigner seeking to enter the United Republic of Tanzania should have a valid Visa. For more information on visa regulations, please check the Travel Information page.
